Site Preparation
For water-side installation, confirm the pond or pool edge can safely support the sculpture's base and that the electrical supply is protected with a residual current device. On land, use a level paver or small concrete pad. Keep the terminal box above potential flood levels and allow a 1-metre clearance zone around the sculpture.
Installation
The flamingo ships in base, body and neck modules. Two technicians complete assembly in about two hours, fitting the slender neck carefully to the body joint, draping the pink panels, and connecting the LED system. If installed in water, use the supplied pond-mount base and verify all seals. After assembly, test the lighting and inspect the water-side mounting for stability.
Maintenance
The pink silk panels should be brushed clean regularly to keep the colour luminous. Inspect the neck joint and base anchors quarterly, re-check waterproof seals after storms, and replace any dim LED modules from the spare kit. For pond installations, check that no debris collects against the base and keep drainage clear to protect the electrical components.
