Installation
The giraffe arrives in stacked sections: base, legs, body, neck and head. Two technicians can assemble it in about four hours using the supplied bolted joints, working from the base upward. A small boom lift or ladder is helpful for the neck and head sections on taller versions. Once assembled, fit the silk panels, connect the LED chains, and perform a full-circuit test. The modular neck design includes internal cable channels, so wiring stays concealed and protected.
Maintenance
Maintenance focuses on the tall neck and head, which are exposed to wind stress. Inspect the neck-to-body joints quarterly and re-torque bolts as needed. Clean the silk surfaces with soft brushes, check LED segments along the neck for dark spots, and replace any faulty modules from the spare kit.
