Site Preparation
Reserve a display corridor of at least 13 metres with firm, level ground and overhead clearance of 5.5 metres. Distribute anchors every 3 to 4 metres along the body and provide multiple grounded power feeds. Although all flames are decorative lighting, keep combustible materials clear of the sculpture and confirm local fire-safety regulations for large illuminated installations.
Installation
Assemble the fire dragon from tail to head as with our other dragons: place body sections, join frame links, fit the flame elements around the body, then connect the LED harnesses through weatherproof connectors. A lift assists with the raised head. After assembly, anchor all supports, run the full lighting test with flame-animation programmes, and verify clearance around the sculpture before opening.
Maintenance
The flame elements need regular inspection for panel security after wind events. Clean silk and flame panels with soft brushes, check frame bolts and anchors monthly, and replace LED modules from the spare kit promptly. Because the warm palette can fade under prolonged sun exposure, store panels under cover between seasons and schedule repanelling after several years of heavy use.
