LF-086
The LF-086 Dancer Figurine Lantern freezes a moment of spinning movement in glowing silk and light. The figure is sculpted mid-twirl, her skirt flaring in a wide arc, sleeves streaming behind her, and one foot lifted in a dynamic step. The skirt is built as layered petal-shaped panels, each internally lit so the whole volume radiates in red, orange and violet, while her bodice and headdress glow in warm gold. The effect is of a dancer caught in full motion under a spotlight, and the sculpture reads beautifully from every angle — the flaring skirt creates an almost three-dimensional cone of colour that fills the surrounding space. Crafted by the steel-frame, silk-skin, LED-light method of Zigong lantern art, the figure keeps crisp detail in the hands, face and costume trims. Weatherproof to IP65 and rated for 50,000 hours, this illuminated figures centrepiece brings energy and celebration to plazas, stages and light trails, and its motion-like silhouette makes it one of the most dynamic pieces in any display.

The dancer can be produced from 3 to 7 metres in height, and the dance style can be a Chinese classical ribbon dance, a folk fan dance, or a contemporary ballet pose. The skirt silhouette — full circle, flared A-line or layered ruffles — and the number of petal panels are customisable, and the colour palette can be changed to cool blues, warm golds or a monochrome scheme. LED programs include steady colour, slow colour cycling, or a rhythmic pulse that can be synchronised to live music through an optional audio input. Sound integration with drum or pipa accompaniment is available, as is a rotating turntable base that slowly turns the whole figure so every side is seen. The figure ships in head, body, skirt panels, arms and base modules, with each skirt panel packed flat in its own crate.
The Dancer Figurine Lantern suits festival plazas, concert stages, opening-ceremony sites, cultural shows, night markets, dance schools' events and the entertainment zones of amusement parks. It pairs naturally with the Musician Figurine Lantern to create a stage scene, and it is a favourite anchor for dance-themed parades and community festivals where its vibrant silhouette draws attention from a distance.
Our team ships and installs this piece worldwide, and every order includes engineering drawings, a certified installation plan and on-site technical supervision. As a custom lanterns specialist from Zigong — the home of Chinese lantern art — we have supplied giant lanterns for sale to theme parks, zoos, shopping malls, city squares and cultural festivals across more than 40 countries since 2002.
The dancer's wide skirt gives it a broad footprint, so a level foundation of about 2.4 m × 2.4 m with anchor bolts set to the template is recommended. Assembly takes one to two days with a light crane: the base is set first, then the body, arms and head, and finally the skirt panels are hooked onto the frame in sequence from the back forward so they interleave correctly. Each skirt panel has its own low-voltage LED loop, allowing the colours to be balanced or animated independently. Electrical connection is a single IP65 base feed with fused, earthed circuits and a dusk sensor plus timer for automatic operation. Weekly checks cover the skirt panel fixings, the arm joints and the anchor bolts; the fabric is cleaned with a soft brush and mild detergent. The skirt panels are the most exposed elements in wind, so we supply a spare panel kit and recommend removing the outermost panels before severe storms. LED modules are serviceable through zippered panels at the back of the skirt. At season's end the skirt panels are removed first and stored flat, and the body modules are crated for reuse.
The dancer's frozen-motion silhouette gives a festival a burst of energy that draws the eye and encourages photography, and its strong colours make it visible across large plazas, supporting wayfinding and event energy. For performance venues, it bridges the gap between stage and audience, extending the show's visual identity into the surrounding space. Educationally, it offers a colourful introduction to Chinese classical dance, costume and the symbolism of movement in festival art, which cultural programmes can use in workshops and guided tours. Its modular skirt system means the same figure can be re-skinned with new colours and panel shapes for different events, protecting the investment across many seasons of festivals and parades.
